Homework Expectations1. Try everything! Even if an assignment or a problem seems difficult, persevere through it. Not every assignment will be easy; in fact, if it's too easy, I'm not doing my job! Your brain grows new dendrites when it has to work hard. Don't be afraid to struggle a little bit!
2. If you try and try and still can't come to a solution, DON'T LEAVE THE PROBLEM/ANSWER BLANK! Write down specifically what you understand and what you don't understand. That way, you have a question ready for class the next day. If you leave an answer blank or with an "I don't get it," that does not count, and you will receive an "Incomplete." 3. Be scholarly: Do your BEST work everyday on your homework! Scholars don't rush through their homework to "just finish." 4. Show ALL work. Remember: no work, no credit. You're gonna regret it! |
